Useful tools. Clear answers.
Plainly is an independently maintained collection of free online tools. We build practical tools for everyday tasks, with readable results and explanations of how they work.
How we check our tools
We use worked examples, automated calculation checks, and browser testing to review tool behavior. When a calculation uses a published formula or reference standard, the tool page explains the method, its assumptions, and the relevant sources.
Estimates stay labeled as estimates. Nutrition calculators are educational tools, not individual medical plans. Our reasoning quiz is practice, not a standardized IQ assessment. When a tool has limits, we explain them on its page.
Help us make a tool better
For questions, corrections, or a bug report, contact [email protected]. Include the tool’s name and what you expected to happen. Use a made-up example rather than sending private documents, passwords, medical information, or inbox contents.
Your information
Most tools work in your browser. Temporary email uses a receiving service. Our privacy page explains what each type of tool retains and describes the site’s analytics.
